JaRuleAshanti2_article1  rAshanti and Ja Rule were obviously pulled over by police sometime this week. The singer and rapper were enjoying an evening out when they were pulled over by a female police officer. Ashanti had been recording portions of their night out and left the camera rolling when they were stopped by a plainclothes policewoman.

Ashanti caught the incident on video and shared it with her followers on Snapchat. In the brief clip, the singer can be heard getting more annoyed at the officer. Ashanti questions the cop, asking, “Why are you asking us to get out of the car? I don’t understand why we have to step out of the car though. What is the problem?”

It appeared things were pretty intense, according to the video but it appears everything worked out fine in the end.

Ashanti later updated her followers and let them know that everything turned out fine. She had a big smile on her face and assured her fans she was alright.

Ashanti is shown outside in her workout clothing as she smiles and tells fans, “Alright so we got into a little altercation last night, I know y’all seen that, but we back at it.”

The snapchat video Ashanti uploaded first appeared that something bad was about to go down. The singer never actually revealed exactly why they were pulled over by the female officer. Thankfully, the incident did not lead to an arrest or worse!
Ashanti and Ja Rule, who previously collaborated on the track “Always On Time”, will head out on a joint tour of the United States on August 25, 2016.
The tour, which was initially called Natural Born Killers and was changed to the Natural Born Hitters, will kick off in New York. The tour will conclude in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 10 September 2016.
